25R3.1

We are excited to announce the 25R3.1 release. The new capabilities delivered include:

Compass Prescriber & National

Definition Update to New Patient Projection

We are pleased to announce an update to our New Patient (NP) metric definition. We have extended the lookback period from 180 days to 395 days to provide a more comprehensive view of new patient starts for products with infrequent treatments and dosing. The impact will be minimal for most products; however, products with acute, annual, or 6-month dosing will see a reduction of the New Patient metrics to more accurately reflect treatment patterns.

Revised New Patient Definition: Projected patient counts that are new to the brand, across both pharmacy and medical claims. A 395-day lookback period is used to identify new patients.

Weekly Projection Nitro Integration

Users now have the ability to deliver weekly Compass Prescriber & National data to Veeva Nitro, in addition to monthly. Nitro provides faster access to your data, so you have your data ready for querying, visualizing, and reporting. This integration is available for customers that have active Compass Prescriber and Veeva Nitro licenses. To learn more about the Nitro integration, please reach out to your Veeva Compass Product Expert.

To utilize this feature, users can set up a query for prescriber or national-level projected data with their criteria and delivery schedule (weekly, monthly, or one-time) of interest within the Compass Portal, and select Nitro as a delivery option.
