We are excited to announce the 25R2.3 Release. The new capabilities delivered include:
Compass Patient
Expanded Product & Procedure Search to include historical Dedicated Codes
Users will be notified to add the current dedicated procedure code and now also historical dedicated codes when adding products to their query in Compass Explorer. This enables users to have a more complete view of their product through its entire market lifecycle, and potentially adding more records to product and procedure queries without needing to search for them individually. Users can choose to add the codes to their query or ignore the notification, and existing queries will need to be updated manually.
Compass Patient Data Quality Improvements
As part of our ongoing quality improvement process, we are enhancing a number of attributes for quality and completeness. These updates apply to both Compass Patient and Compass Pathway data deliveries.
- Improved Unit of Measure for both medical and prescription claims through mapping relevant dose forms into their respective unit categories, providing insight on the increments in which a product is dispensed.
- Added a new Unit of Measure category for medical claims, to classify products like capsules, tablets, kits and more into Each (presenting in the data as EA), providing insight into single increment products.
- Improved Quantity Dispensed accuracy to remove values that do not match real-world dispensing volumes.
- Improved Place of Service insights for Institutional medical claims, using the claim field Bill Type to enrich visibility into care setting.
- Added Diagnosis Codes through expanded mappings and cleaning rules, providing detail to a patient’s record and insight into the patient journey.
- Added over 17K Product NDCs through a new reference data resource, providing product information on over 13M records, supporting increased coverage and treatment visibility.
- Added ethnicity to over 1.5M patients, providing insights into patient demographics, supporting patient journey and HCP targeting.
Compass Pathway Job Summary Improvements
Compass Pathway users can now use their Job Summary, which is delivered with their query results, to see the breakout of interim and final stage records by their status of rejected, reversed, and dispensed. This provides insight into the content of their data pull before exploring the detailed transaction data.
