Full Support for Vault CRM X-Pages Compass Templates
Veeva Compass is excited to announce full support for Compass data in Vault CRM X-Pages. X-Pages enables Compass data from Compass Patient and Compass Prescriber to be displayed directly to field teams in CRM. This full support ensures that Compass customers that have Vault CRM and X-Pages licensed can :
- Implement our pre-built Compass templates
- Build new or modify pre-built Compass templates
- Migrate active templates from Veeva CRM to Vault CRM
Our pre-built templates cover the following use cases:
- Compass Patient Market Trend Template - displays the status of company and competitor products within a specified territory using prescription and medical claim data.
- Compass Patient Diagnosed Patient Template - displays patient data at the HCP level, including prescribed products, and trends between different markets within a specified territory for patients diagnosed with a specific disease or desired treatment.
- Compass Prescriber Template - understanding market dynamics and identifying key HCPs for engagement. Please work with your Product Expert to enable the Vault CRM data delivery.

Compass Data Connector for Genomics
We are pleased to announce an expansion of Veeva Compass Data Connector - an add-on to Compass Patient that provides HIPAA-compliant data integration for Genomics data to Medical and Pharmacy claims. Capabilities support the full pipeline for standardizing, enriching and mapping your own data to Compass Patient data.
See beyond the genomics test order and link patients directly to their genomic results, enabling identification, targeting, and segmentation of the patients who are most likely to benefit from complex therapies. This is especially relevant for brands that have genetic testing requirements for eligibility and approval. Veeva manages your data to provide:
- Ingested data from your data partner & deliveries monitored by Veeva
- Cleansed and standardized genomics data attributes, including:
- Full overlap with the Data Connector Lab Results schema to support combined deliveries
- Gene names and sequence variant details such as coordinates, coding and protein changes, and full annotations to enable precise variant identification
- Variant consequence and classifications for patient eligibility assessment
- Provider details for the ordering provider and the laboratory that performed the test
- Procedure and diagnosis codes associated with the results
- Matched patient IDs to the catalog of Compass data network patients, for easy joining in the analytic tools of your choice
- Delivery to SFTP & S3 destinations in a simple schema
Compass Patient Data Quality Improvements
As part of our ongoing quality improvement process, we are enhancing a number of attributes for quality and fill rates. These improvements apply to both Compass Patient and Compass Pathway data deliveries.
- Improved pharmacy type fill rate, which provided more specificity to the type of channel that distributed the prescription
- Improved provider quality, which converted DEA or State License Numbers into the more common NPIs. This also improved the fill rate on fields populated by OpenData reference data, which is based on NPI matching
- Improved Patient Pay Amount fill rate on medical claim transactions, due to improved mapping from suppliers. This provided more insight into the patient and payer landscape
- Exact year of birth data is available for patients turning 80-84 in the current year, to support more visibility into this high interest demographic while still maintaining HIPAA compliance. The age ranges delivered will include this population in the 80+ bucket, as currently designed
Compass Prescriber & National
The following features will be available in the upcoming projections that will be published on August 28th, 2025. In addition, enhancements to the projection methodology will be included that improve projection stability and consistency across Compass Prescriber and National.
Weekly Projections
We are pleased to announce the upcoming availability of weekly projections for the Compass Prescriber and National products. The first projections will be published on Thursday August 28th, 2025 at 11AM EST. Weekly projections will be available in addition to the existing monthly projections, enabling customers to get to insights more quickly. Weekly projected data can be used to accelerate operations in order to refresh HCP target lists, track new brand launches and competitors, as well as track brand and territory performance.
Weekly projections will include all metrics, which means customers will see the latest prescriptions (TRx), procedures (TMx) and patient metrics (including non-retail) on a weekly basis - an industry first. Weekly will enable customers to work with speed, providing visibility across patient and volume metrics up to a full month earlier than with monthly projections.
Weekly projections will be available on all levels (Prescriber, Zip, State and National) and for all metrics, which include:
- Tx (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
- TRx
- TMx
- New Patients
- Total Patients
Both weekly and monthly projections will be supported in Compass. Weekly projections utilize the same projection methodology and processes as monthly applied at a weekly level.
Weekly data will be available each Thursday at 11AM EST, while monthly data will continue to be published on the 28th of each month. Each weekly publish will include data starting from January 1, 2022 up to 3 weeks prior to the publish date.
