We are excited to announce the 23R3.4 release for Compass Prescriber and National. The following features will be available in the upcoming monthly projections that will be published on February 28th, 2024. In addition, enhancements to the projection methodology will be included that improve projection quality across Compass Prescriber and National.
Prescriber
Zip Non-Specific (ZNS) Projections
Zip Non-Specific projections will be available in Prescriber data, allowing for consistent brand level projection values that tie up across the Prescriber, Zip, State, and National levels.
Zip Non-Specific projections are denoted as “ZNS” in the Level column of the Prescriber data output. ZNS captures excess Zip Tx volume that is not tied to a specific HCP or HCO. This means that the sum of the Tx volume for HCP, HCO, and ZNS for a given Zip in the Prescriber data output will be equal to the Tx volume for the corresponding Zip in the Zip data output.
Note that ZNS-level projections are only available in Prescriber queries that do not have a Prescriber Volume filter applied. If a filter is applied for Prescriber Tx volume, the data output will be filtered to provide HCPs and HCOs meeting the filter.
National
Brand Coverage
Monthly brand coverage will be available in National and State data to offer visibility into Compass projection values. Coverage represents the total prescription dispenses and administrations in the Compass Data Network, divided by the projected total prescription dispenses and administrations (Tx). Coverage provides an indicator of the magnitude of projection needed for a given brand and month.
