December 4, 2023 Release

23R3.0

We are pleased to announce the launch of Compass Pathway on December 4.

Compass Patient customers can upgrade to a Compass Pathway license. Compass Pathway focuses on the journey of a prescription drug claim to inform payer strategy, better understand patient behavior and adherence, and improve HCP targeting.

In addition to Compass Patient, Compass Pathway customers will have access to Pathway data, including additional reversed, rejected, and interim dispensed prescription drug claims.

  • Reversed transactions - prescriptions that were not picked up by the patient
  • Rejected transactions - prescriptions that had adjudication delays by the insurer
  • Interim dispensed transactions - prescriptions that were approved for pick-up but are later reversed

Medical records will continue to include final paid Medical records, which are already available in Compass Patient.

Compass Portal Update

Compass Pathway customers will have an additional module in the Compass Portal to build queries and access Pathway data.

Schedule

Compass Pathway Schema

Customers of Compass Pathway will receive an expanded version of the existing Compass Patient schema.

  • New Compass Pathway attribute populated for both prescription drug and medical records:
    • Event ID: ID for a prescription fill or a medical claim service line. For RX, event ID indicates a group of records about the same prescription fill, including different record stages of a given prescription.
  • New Compass Pathway attributes populated only for prescription drug records:
    • Stage: indicates the various steps leading to a successful dispensed prescription or the detours along the journey such as reversals or rejections
    • Status: indicates the final known status of an event and intermediary statuses of the prescription drug claim lifecycle
    • Reject codes 1 & 2: NCPDP standard rejected reason values
    • Reject code groups 1 & 2: Compass-specific groupings of reject codes
