Cancel Jobs
Users now have the ability to cancel processing and scheduled jobs/queries directly from Portal. In addition, the “Delivering” status has been added to jobs to indicate when a job is being delivered to the selected location. Scheduled jobs (monthly and daily) can be cancelled either at a query level or an individual job level, while one-time jobs can be cancelled on an individual job level only.
For monthly and daily scheduled jobs, cancelling on the query level means that all upcoming scheduled jobs (currently processing and future) in the series will be cancelled. Cancelling on the individual job level means that only that specific job will be cancelled, but other future jobs in the schedule will continue to run.
Below is a summary of job types and statuses where the Cancel action is available:
To cancel a monthly/daily job on the query level, click on the Actions menu on the Query ID row, then select Cancel.
To cancel an individual job within a series, expand the query row using the arrow next to the Query ID, then click on the Actions menu for the upcoming scheduled or processing job that you would like to cancel, then select Cancel.
To cancel a processing one-time job, click on the Actions menu for the job you would like to cancel, then select Cancel.
Note that once a job is cancelled, the action cannot be undone. If you would like to rerun a cancelled job, you may duplicate the job and submit it as a new job.
New Data Sources
We are pleased to announce that new data sources for Medical Claims will be available in the Veeva Compass Platform on February 6! These sources add ~2% claims to the data network and expand professional claims (i.e. laboratory tests, ancillary services, home visits and office visits).
One-time and Daily data deliveries will include the new data sources automatically on February 6, and they will be included in your Monthly deliveries beginning on February 20.
